Solon fell to West Delaware 31-28 on Thursday in a thrilling WAMAC Conference dual meet in Solon.
The two teams split the 14 matches with each team winning seven the difference coming as West Delaware earning bonus points in four matches while Solon secured bonus points in three wins.
Jayden Steapp posted a first-period pin at 106 for Solon and Charlie Karam had a second-period pin at 138 for the Spartans.
Jordan Schmidt won a 6-3 decision over Jax Miller at 138 pounds to earn the 100th win of his career.
Lawsin Sinnwell won a 5-2 decision over Ryan Hilby at 144 and Kyler Jensen won a 14-12 decision over Jeryn Funke in sudden victory at 190.
Lucas Feuerbach won a 9-2 decision at 215 and Grant Wilson won an 8-0 major decision at 285 for Solon.
