Clear Creek Amana fell to Class 3A No. 10 Mount Vernon 65-58 on Thursday in a WAMAC Conference cross-divisional contest in Tiffin.

The win was the ninth in a row for Mount Vernon and improved the Mustangs to 9-2 on the season while Clear Creek Amana dropped to 4-5 on the season.

Haiden Hardy had 27 points, three steals and three assists to lead Clear Creek Amana.

Andrew Rotzoll had 13 points and Cale Berry had eight points for the Clippers.
