Adam Bock
Former Solon standout and current South Dakota State senior linebacker Adam Bock had a team-high 11 tackles including seven solon stops as the Jackrabbits defeated Montana 23-3 in the FCS National Championship game on Sunday in Frisco, Texas.
On the season Bock ranked third on the team with 65 tackles including two sacks and 2.5 tackles for loss in 10 games helping South Dakota State to a 15-0 record.
Bock has already announced he will be returning to South Dakota State next season for his final season.
Paige Rocca
City High graduate and current Missouri State senior guard Paige Rocca had a strong week in helping the Bears to a pair of Missouri Valley Conference wins.
Rocca had 11 points and two rebounds in a 67-47 win over Valparaiso on Thursday and added eight points and three rebounds in a 51-50 Illinois Chicago on Saturday.
On the season Rocca has started all 12 games for the Bears and is averaging 8.1 points and 2.3 rebounds per game helping Missouri State to a 9-3 record including a 3-0 mark in MVC play.
Hunter Garvin
Former West High state champion and current Stanford freshman Hunter Garvin finished fifth at 165 pounds to help the Cardinal win the team title at the Southern Scuffle in Chattanooga, Tennessee last Tuesday.
Garvin went 5-2 on his way to the fifth-place finish at the two-day tournament as Stanford won the team title at the event for the first time in program history with 153.5 points to outdistance runner-up Oklahoma.
Garvin had a pair of major decision among his five wins at the event and improved his season record to 12-7.
