Class 2A fourth-ranked Regina remained unbeaten in 2024 and undefeated against River Valley Conference opponents with a 55-39 win over 3A eighth-ranked Monticello in the RVC cross over event on Saturday in Maquoketa.

Regina outscored Monticello 26-15 in the second half to break open a five-point game at the half while improving to 10-2 on the season with its third straight win.

Monticello had a six-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 10-2 on the season with the loss.

Morgan Miller had a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds to go with three steals and two assists to lead Regina.

Ella McLaughlin had 15 points and seven rebounds and Morgan Squiers had nine points and three rebounds for the Regals.

Alli Clark had nine points, three rebounds and two assists for Regina.
