Solon had three champions and three runner-up finishers on its way to winning the team title at the North Mahaska Invitational on Saturday at North Mahaska High School in New Sharon.

Jordan Schmidt, Jayden Steapp and Lucas Feuerbach all won individual titles as Solon finished with 230 points.

Grinnell was runner-up with 169 points followed by host North Mahaska and Oskaloosa with 140.

Jayden Steapp (24-8) pinned his way to the 106-pound title, winning all four matches via first-period pin.

Schmidt (29-2) had three consecutive pins on his way to the 138-pound championship including a first-period pin of Matthew Mintle of Grinnell in the championship match.

Lucas Feuerbach (25-4) went 5-0 on Saturday on his way to the 215-pound championship winning four matches via pin and downing runner-up Stryker Lettington of Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 13-3.

Grant Wilson finished runner-up at 285, Jackson Feuerbach was runner-up at 165 and Carson Kidwell was runner-up at 150 for Solon.

Lawsin Sinnwell was third at 144 pounds, Teague Williams was third at 157 and Kyler Jensen was third at 190 for the Spartans.
