Class 4A No. 10 West High held off West Des Moines Dowling 57-55 on Saturday afternoon in Iowa City.

West High improved to 8-1 with its fourth straight win while West Des Moines Dowling dropped to 5-5 with the loss.

Julian Manson had 17 points and five rebounds to lead West High while Jack McCaffery had 14 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.

Jacob Koch and TaeVeon Stevens each had eight points for West High while Mason Goering had five points and four rebounds.

Joey Coppola IV had a game-high 18 points to lead West Des Moines Dowling and Ryan Kleppe had 13 points and Ridik Meton 11 for the Maroons.
