City High had eight pins among its 10 wins on its way to a 54-21 win over Liberty High on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in North Liberty.

Kendall Kurtz, Chris Davis, Cael Seaton, Jake Mitchell, Laith Alawneh, Gabe Egeland, Kael Voinovich and Raphael Etuma all recorded pins for the Little Hawks in the win.

Mitchell opened the dual by pinning Connor Mason in 2:15 at 144 pounds and Alawneh followed with a pin of Finn O’Toole in 2:44 at 150 pounds.

Voinovich made it 18-0 City High when he pinned Landon Bell in 2:59 at 157 pounds.

Etuma pinned Ethan Barber in 4:51 at 190 pounds, Kurtz pinned Konstantinos Panos in 1:45 at 11 pounds and Davis pinned Benjamin Rosen in 1:22 at 120.

Seaton closed the dual with a first-period pin of Mason Karam at 138 pounds.

Zyaire Washpun added a 10-5 win over Christos Panos at 126 and Trey Dervrich won a 9-2 decision over Blake DuBois at 285.

Liberty High got pins from Connor McGonegle at 106 pounds, Gavin Benton at 175 and Vincenzo Lima at 215 pounds.
