Class 4A second-ranked Clear Creek Amana remained unbeaten on the season with a 71-22 win over Vinton-Shellsburg on Friday in a WAMAC West Division contest in Vinton.

Clear Creek Amana improved to 7-0 on the season with the win while Vinton-Shellsburg dropped to 2-5 with the loss.

Averie Lower poured in a game-high 27 points for the Clippers hitting six 3-pointers and Kennedy Stratton added 13 points in the win.

Lena Evans had nine points and Kaylee Stratton and Sam Schrage each had five for Clear Creek Amana.

Adalee Klein had nine points for Vinton-Shellsburg.
