West High fell to Class 3A fourth-ranked Linn-Mar 45-30 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division dual on Thursday in Iowa City.

The Trojans won six matches on Thursday posting three pins in the dual loss.

Charles Barnhouse (106), Justin Avila (150) and Sterling Warren (190) all posted pins for West High while top-ranked Alexander Pierce earned a tech fall victory at 113 pounds.

Matthew Tran won a 5-2 decision over 3A fourth-ranked Malik DeBow at 120 pounds and Kyler Scranton posted a 16-8 major decision over Philip Jacobs at 175 pounds.
