West High had a two-game winning streak stopped with a 62-56 loss to Class 3A sixth-ranked Dubuque Wahlert on Tuesday in Dubuque.

The Trojans dropped to 2-4 on the season while Dubuque Wahlert improved to 6-1 with its fourth consecutive win.

Grace Fincham led West High with 22 points and 10 rebounds while Sasha Baldwin had nine points, six rebounds and three assists.

Lucy Wolf had six points, four rebounds and two steals and Ava Frese had six points, three assists and three steals for West High.

Ruth Tauber went 5-of-6 from 3-point range and had a team-high 22 points to go with five assists for Dubuque Wahlert while Claire Lueken had 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for the Golden Eagles.
