West High Senior Linebacker Miller Commits to Wayne State

The top tackler for West High and one of the most electric defensive playmakers in the state has found his future football home.
West High senior linebacker Santana Miller announced his commitment to Wayne State College on Sunday with a post on social media.
“Excited to announce my commitment to Wayne State,” Miller wrote on X. “Go Wildcats.”
Miller had a team-high 73 tackles last fall while helping West High to a 4-5 record and built on his reputation as a defensive playmaker scoring three defensive touchdowns for the Trojans.
The 5-foot-11, 205-pound Miller had 39 solo tackles and two tackles for loss among his team-high 73 stops and returned a fumble and two interceptions for touchdowns as a senior.
Over the past two seasons Miller racked up 123 tackles, 74 solo stops with 8.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.
Miller also had four interception and two fumble recoveries the past two seasons returning four of those turnovers for touchdowns.
In addition to his defensive playmaking ability Miller also rushed for 151 yards and four touchdowns over the past two seasons.
A member of NCAA Division II located in Wayne, Nebraska, Wayne State was 8-3 last season and 7-3 in Northern Sun Conference.
