Solon went 1-1 at its own triangular on Thursday defeating Williamsburg 52-23 and falling to Cedar Rapids Prairie 38-21.

The Spartans won 10 matches in the victory over Williamsburg including six wins by fall.

Jayden Steapp (106), Lawsin Sinnwell (144), Teague Williams (157), Conlan Poynton (175), Oliver Ownes (190) and Lucas Feuerbach (285) all won by fall for the Spartans while Charlie Karam (132) and Jordan Schmidt (138) won by tech fall.

Justin Moore won by decision at 113 pounds and Jackson Feuerbach won by decision for the Spartans.

Against Cedar Rapids Prairie Jayden Steapp (106), Kyler Steapp (120), Evan Burg (126), Karam (132), Schmidt and Lucas Feuerbach all posted wins.
