Jackson Stevens did a little bit of everything for Clear Creek Amana this season.

The senior running back/linebacker did it all well enough to earn all-state honors for the first time.

Stevens was named to the Iowa Prints Sports Writers Association Class 4A all-state second team on Tuesday when the organization released its postseason awards.

The 5-foot-10, 155-pound Stevens led or tied for the team lead in a variety of major offensive and defensive categories this season but was at his best in the offensive backfield.

Stevens earned second-team all-state honors as a running back after rushing for a team-high 1,082 yards and 12 touchdowns while averaging 5.6 yards per carry.

The senior standout also caught 12 passes for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

On defense Stevens ranked second on the team with 54.5 tackles and tied for the team lead with eight tackles for loss, two sacks, a fumble recovery and two interceptions.
