Boys Cross Country Roundup: City High Secures Runner-up Finish at MVC Divisional Meet

City High had four runners finish in the top 15 on its way to a runner-up team finish at the Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Divisional meet on Thursday at Seminole Valley Park in Cedar Rapids.
Class 4A second-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy won the team title with 27 points followed by 4A No. 17 City High with 60 and No. 13 Dubuque Hempstead with 61.
Class 4A No. 19 West High finished fourth with 104 points.
Owyn Noble placed sixth overall in a time of 15:57.15 to lead City High while teammate Linus McRoberts was 10th in 16:14.08.
Maxwell McDowell finished 13th in 16:21.01 David Randall was 15th in 16:26.17 and George Karr was 16th in 16:28.27.
Moustafa Tiea finished seventh in a time of 15:57.21 to pace West High and Caleb Benson was 17th in 16:29.29.
