Seventh-ranked Regina Gets Back on Track With Win Over Dyersville Beckman

Coming off its first loss of the season last week Regina didn’t waste any time getting rolling on Friday.
Class 1A seventh-ranked Regina scored 28 first-quarter points and built a 45-7 halftime lead on its way to a 48-21 win over Dyersville Beckman on Friday at Regal Field in Iowa City.
Regina improved to 6-1 on the season and 3-1 in Class 1A, District 5 play with the win while Dyersville Beckman dropped to 1-6 and 1-3 in district play.
Gentry Dumont passed for 144 yards and four touchdowns, three to senior Ty Joss as the Regals took control early.
Jackson Naeve scored a pair of touchdowns and Regina forced four turnovers while getting back on track following a 21-17 loss to West Branch last week.
Dumont completed 9-of-11 passes with Joss hauling in three touchdown catches totally 85 yards.
Freshman Tate Wallace also caught a touchdown pass and had four receptions for 38 yards while Naeve caught two passes for 34 yards.
Naeve also rushed for 14 yards and a touchdown and returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown.
Sophomore Cash Hatfield made a 37 yard field goal for Regina and senior Emiliano Herrera-Sinnwell had a 30 yard field goal.
Hatfield, Joss and Naeve all had interceptions for Regina and Matt Colony recovered a fumble for the Regals which held Dyersville Beckman to 176 total yards.
Cody Hageman rushed for 106 yards and a touchdown and Cole Hirsch ran for 24 yards and a touchdown for the Blazers.
