City High had four runners finish in the top 10 on its way to a third-place team finish at the Mississippi Valley Conference Super Meet on Thursday at Birdsall Park in Cedar Falls.

Ani Wedemeyer finished fourth overall and Abigail Burns was 10^th for City High which finished with 82 points.

Class 4A second-ranked Dubuque Senior won the team title with 40 points while third-ranked Dubuque Hempstead was runner-up with 52 points followed by ninth-ranked City High.

No. 16 West High got an eighth-place finish from sophomore Kate Van Waning while finishing sixth in with 153 points.

No. 19 Liberty High finished eighth with 180 points, 17 points behind No. 15-ranked Cedar Rapids Prairie.

Wedemeyer was one of four runners to break 19 minutes on Thursday placing fourth in a time of 18:58.7 to pace City High.

Burns finished 10^th overall in a time of 19:46.8.

Nicole Peterson finished 15^th among team scorers on Thursday in a time of 20:12 while Grace Hamann was 26^th in 19:55.9 and Claire Locher was 30^th in 20:55.5.

Van Waning led West High with an eighth-place overall finish in a time of 19:41.2 while Cindy Wang was 29^th in 20:55.5 and Kalli Titus finished 37^th in a time of 21:11.5.

Liberty High senior Cori Mac finished 16^th overall in a time of 20:10.7 and Mimi Marquardt was 33^rd among team scorers in a time of20:57.6 for the Lightning.
