City High and West High moved up in the latest Class 4A girls cross country rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

West High and City High each moved up one spot in the sixth rankings of the season.

City High climbed from 10th to ninth in the Class 4A rankings while West High moved up to No. 17 while Liberty High held its spot at No. 19.

Solon climbed one spot to sixth in the Class 3A rankings while Clear Creek is ninth and Regina is eighth in the Class 1A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week include Johnston in Class 4A, Pella in Class 3A, Mid-Prairie in Class 2A and Dyersville Beckman in Class 1A.
