Clear Creek Amana remained atop the Class 4A volleyball rankings when the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its most recent set of rankings on Thursday.

Defending 4A runner-up Clear Creek Amana is off to a 21-0 start on the season and holds the top spot in the 4A rankings for the fourth consecutive week.

Clear Creek Amana leads second-ranked Indianola, No. 3 ADM, fourth-ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier and No. 5 North Scott  in an unchanged 4A top five from last week

The Clippers are one of four area teams ranked in the top 15 in their respective class.

Liberty High (6-11) held its spot at 10th in the Class 5A rankings while City High dropped out of the 5A rankings.

Solon (12-7)  moved up four spots to No. 8 Class 3A rankings while Regina (12-6) dropped three spots to No. 13 in Class 2A.

Other top-ranked teams in the this week are West Des Moines Dowling in 5A, Western Christian in 3A, Dike-New Hartford in 2A and Ankeny Christian in 1A.
