Your Prep Sports 

For the second week in a row Regina  has climbed in the Iowa Association of Track Coaches girls cross country rankings.

After moving up four spots to eighth in last week’s IATC rankings the Regals jumped again on Tuesday moving up to fifth in the most recent Class 1A rankings.

Regina trails only top-ranked Madrid, Fort Dodge St. Edmond, Dyersville Beckman and Earlham in the most recent 1A rankings.

The Regals are one of six Your Prep Sports area teams in the rankings this week.

Clear Creek Amana held its spot at fifth in the Class 3A rankings while Solon is eighth in Class 3A.

City High is ninth in the 4A rankings while Liberty High is No. 19 and West High remained No. 20 in Class 4A.

Top-ranked teams in the fourth rankings this season are Johnston in Class 4A, Pella in Class 3A, Monticello in 2A and Madrid  in Class 1A.
