Class 2A No. 10 Regina defeated Monticello 25-13, 22-25, 25-22, 21-25, 15-12 in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional thriller on Tuesday in Monticello.

Regina improved to 9-3 on the season with the win while Monticello dropped to 7-4 with the loss.

Reese Naeve had a match-high 30 kills to lead Regina while Kiley Devery had 15 kills for the Regals.

Caitlin Martin had six kills and three blocks while freshman Elizabeth Nolte added four kills for Regina.

Sydney Wagner had 60 assists, 22 digs and three ace serves, Abby Schuessler had three blocks and freshman Addison Bollier had a team-high 24 digs for Regina.
