A 2-0 start to the season has pushed Regina into the Class 1A rankings.

After receiving votes in the opening Associated Press poll of the season Regina made its season debut in the second AP poll of the season coming in at ninth in Class 1A in the poll released on Monday.

Regina opened the season with back-to-back wins over West Liberty and Mid-Prairie.

Top-ranked teams in the second AP poll of the season are Southeast Polk in Class 5A, ADM and North Scott were tied atop Class 4A, Williamsburg in 3A, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock in 2A, Grundy Center in 1A, West Hancock in Class A and Gladbrook-Reinbeck in 8-player.
