Solon and Clear Creek Amana each climbed multiple spots in the Class 3A girls cross country rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

Clear Creek Amana jumped two spots to No. 10 in Class 3A in the second rankings of the season while Solon climbed four spots to fourth in this week’s rankings.

Solon and Clear Creek Amana join City High, West High and Regina as area teams to appear in the rankings.

City High is No. 13 and West High No. 20 in the Class 4A rankings while Regina moved up one spot to No. 12 in the 1A rankings.

Top-ranked teams in the second rankings this season are Johnston in Class 4A, Pella in Class 3A, Mid-Prairie in 2A and Earlham in Class 1A.
