Boys Cross Country Roundup: Hilsman Leads Clear Creek Amana at Cedar Rapids Prairie Invitational

Brock Hilsman finished 11th overall to lead Clear Creek Amana to a fourth-place finish in the Blake Division at the Cedar Rapids Prairie Invitational on Saturday at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School.
Hilsman finished 11th out of all competitors at the 15-team meet in a time of 17:11.7 as Class 3A No. 10 Clear Creek Amana finished with 97 points in the Blake Division.
Class 4A third-ranked Cedar Falls won the Black Division with 21 points while 4A No. 15 Cedar Rapids Prairie was second with 66 and Dubuque Senior was third with 77.
Clear Creek Amana finished 33 points in front of 3A No. 15 Western Dubuque.
Jamie Hayes finished 31st overall for Clear Creek Amana in a time of 18:14.15 while Logan Kafer was 32nd in 18:17.5.
Thomas Stiltner finished 36th in 18:20.9 and Nicholas Schieltz was 39th in 18:26.5
