Liberty High set an 18-hole school record on Monday while finishing third at the Blue Top Ridge Invitational in Riverside.

The Lightning had four players finish in the top 12 and didn’t have an individual shoot higher than 80 on Monday while finishing third with a 301.

Johnston won the team title with a 297 while Pleasant Valley was runner-up with a 298.

Led by individual medalist Max Froeschle who shot a one-under-par 71 Central DeWitt finished fourth as a team with a 307.

Host West High was seventh with a 326.

Liberty High was led by Vaughn Tyler who shot a two-over-par 74 to finish fifth.

JJ Grimm was ninth with a three-over 75 and Landon Peoples and Will Stoakes each shot 76 to finish 11^th and 12^th respectively.

Ryan Schmierer shot a 79 and Lucas Bartachek shot an 80 for the Lightning.

West High was led by Cole Collier and Jack MacLagan who each shot 79.

Dillon Croco shot an 80 for the Trojans and Braden Doyle shot an 88.
