Solon and Clear Creek Amana split a WAMAC cross-divisional doubleheader in Solon on Thursday.
Solon won the opener 6-5 and Clear Creek Amana secured the split with a 10-7 win in the nightcap.
Clear Creek Amana moved to 16-9 on the season while Solon now sits at 20-17.
Tyson Wheeler earned the win for Solon in the opener allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out three in 5 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.
Blake Timmons went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in game one while Brett White doubled, drove in a run and scored a run in the opener.
Jackson Link had a hit and drove in two runs and Nolan Seagren and Vince Steinbrech each had a hit and scored a run for the Spartans.
Jack Downes doubled and drove in two runs and Kaden Phan had a hit and drove in two runs for Clear Creek Amana.
Reese Hoffman had a hit and scored a run and Caleb Allan had a hit and drove in a run.
Hoffman earned the win in the nightcap allowing seven runs on eight hits in five innings.
David Williams worked two innings of hitless relief to earn the save for the Clippers.
