Softball Roundup: Clear Creek Amana Splits Doubleheader With 3A Top-ranked Williamsburg

Clear Creek Amana split a WAMAC West Division doubleheader with Class 3A top-ranked Williamsburg on Monday in Oxford dropping the opener 10-0 and winning the nightcap 2-1.
Williamsburg moved to 28-5 on the season with the split while Clear Creek Amana now sits at 17-13.
Olivia Miller had the lone hit for Clear Creek Amana in the 10-0 five-inning loss in the opener.
The Clippers rebounded to win the nightcap behind a strong pitching performance from freshman Kyla Schulte.
Schulte allowed one unearned run on four hits while striking out two and walking seven in the complete game win.
Miller was 2-for-3 for Clear Creek Amana while junior catcher Aeslyn Massey homered for the Clippers.
Avery Allan had a hit and Reese Stockman scored the go-ahead run on a Lizzie Pasbrig sacrifice fly in the fourth inning.
