City High Moves Up to Sixth in Latest IHSBCA Rankings

A week after returning to the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association rankings City High is on the move.
The Little Hawks jumped three spots to sixth in the most recent Class 4A rankings released by the IHSBCA on Monday.
City High has won four of its last five games including a doubleheader sweep of eighth-ranked Cedar Rapids Kennedy while improving to 15-8 on the season.
Ankeny Centennial remained atop the Class 4A rankings followed by Cedar Rapids Prairie, Johnston, Southeast Polk and Pleasant Valley.
Other top-ranked teams this week include Western Dubuque (3A), Van Meter (2A) and Mason City Newman (1A).
