Baseball Roundup: Big Inning Lifts Regina Past 1A Fourth-ranked Lisbon

Regina exploded for 10 runs in the top of the fifth inning on its way to 14-4 five-inning win over Class 1A fourth-ranked Lisbon on Tuesday in Lisbon.
Will Litton tossed four strong innings and Dany Gavin went 4-for-4 as Regina improved to 8-8 on the season with the win.
Lisbon dropped to 9-1 with the loss.
Eight different players had a hit for Regina led by Gavin who had a double among four hits and drove in a run and scored twice.
Drew Streb was 2-for-2 with two doubles, two RBI and two runs and Jack Tierney was 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI and two runs.
Alex Paul had two hits, drove in a run and scored three runs while Colin Baker and Jack Clark each had a hit and drove in two runs.
Michael Martin and Connor Nicpon each had a hit, scored a run and drove in a run.
Litton earned the win for Regina allowing four uneared runs on five hits while striking out five and walking one.
Tate Lynch worked a hitless inning of relief.
