For the second consecutive week Regina is on top of the Class 2A softball rankings.

After opening the season atop the 2A rankings Regina (3-2) held the top spot for the second week in a row when the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union released its weekly rankings on Thursday.

The Regals are the highest ranked of three Your Prep Sports area teams in the rankings this week.

Solon (5-2) moved up one spot to eighth in the Class 3A rankings this week while Clear Creek Amana (6-1) moved up four spots to No. 11 in the Class 4A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include West Des Moines Valley in 5A, Dallas Center-Grimes in 4A, Williamsburg in 3A and Southeast Warren in Class 1A.
