DES MOINES, Iowa – In its first state match ever Tuesday, Iowa City Liberty had so much fun that it decided to stay around for the semifinals. The Lightning knocked off Dallas Center-Grimes in the Class 3A playoffs here at Cownie Soccer Park.

After the match, Liberty spoke about the historic victory.
