Regina Lands Seven On River Valley Conference Boys Soccer Team

After going unbeaten against River Valley Conference competition throughout the regular season Regina will open postseason play with a rematch with RVC foe Tipton.
Before the postseason opened the Regals were rewarded for their regular season work.
Regina had seven players named to the River Valley Conference boys soccer team when the league announced its postseason honors.
Senior Will Lipsius and juniors Jack Hoover and Quinn Warren all earned first-team all-RVC honors to highlight the list of six Regals to earn all-conference honors.
Hoover led Regina with 11 goals and added three assists this season while Warren had nine goals and a was second on the team with eight assists.
Lipsius had a goal and three assists and was a key part of a Regal defense that held RVC opponents to five goals this season.
Junior Eddie Petersen, sophomore Kyle Evans and freshman Laird Holden all earned second-team honors for Regina.
Petersen had 10 goals and eight assists and Holden had five goals and a team-high 10 assists for Regina.
Evans had nine goals and five assists.
Senior Evan Lacina earned honorable mention honors for the Regals.
West Branch had five players earn all-conference honors.
Junior Lincoln Edwards and Joe Hamann were both named to the RVC first team while junior Trenton Schutte and sophomore Timmy Hosier were second team selections.
Hamann led West Branch with 24 goals and added four assists and Schutte had a team-high 18 assists and five goals while Hosier and Edwards were key defensive pieces for a West Branch squad that went 12-3.
Junior Shae Farmer was an honorable mention pick for West Branch.
