Solon made a pair of first half goals stand up in a 2-1 win over Mount Pleasant on Monday in a Class 2A, District 5 quarterfinal at Spartan Stadium in Solon.

Eli Freerks and Keegan Conway scored goals as Solon improved to 6-9 on the season with its second win in its last three matches.

Lewis Sutton and Zeb Kleinsmith had assists for the Spartans.

Solon will travel to top-seeded Davenport Assumption (13-1) for a District 5 semifinal on Monday at 7:30 p.m.

Mount Pleasant closes the season 4-10.
