West Branch senior Will Bridges shot a four-over-par 76 to earn individual medalist honors at the Class 2A sectional meet at Kalona Golf Course on Tuesday.

With the individual title Bridges earned a trip to the Class 2A District meet on Monday at 10 a.m. at Heritage Oaks Golf Course in Mediapolis.

Bridges shot a 38 on both the front and back nine on Tuesday and finished two strokes in front of runner-up Cael Daufeldt of West Liberty.

Tristin Sorgenfrey of Tipton was third with a 79 helping the Tigers to the team title with a 333.

Tipton finished one stroke in front of runner-up West Liberty which secured the second team spot at the Class 2A district meet.

Mediapolis was third with a 337 followed by West Branch with a 339 and host Mid-Prairie with 352.

Paxton Tisinger shot an 86 while Bradyn Sexton shot an 87 for the Bears and Cameron Gingerich finished with a 90.
