West High finished sixth and Liberty High was seventh on Tuesday at the John Ask Relays at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids.

Cedar Rapids Prairie and Cedar Rapids Kennedy tied for the team title at the eight-team meet each with 146 points while Western Dubuque was third with 114 points.

West High finished with 57 points while Liberty High had 48 points.

West High won the 4×800 relay as the team of Mason Van Waning, Sam Showers, Michael Lee and Moustafa Tiea clocked a team of 8:03.1.

Christian Janis added a fourth-place finish in the 400 for the Trojans.

Liberty High got runner-up finishes from Da’Shon Fisher in the long jump and Noah Gregoire in the 1,600.
