Mia Stahle won the 400 hurdles and Solon added a title in the shuttle hurdle relay on its way to a runner-up team finish at the Clark Weaver Invitational on Friday at Linn-Mar High School in Marion.

Host Linn-Mar won the team title with 127 points while Solon was second with 106 followed by Pleasant Valley with 94 and Cedar Rapids Kennedy with 70.

Mia Stahle won the 400 hurdles in 1:07.94 and the Solon shuttle hurdle relay team won in a time of 1:08.73.

Kate Shafer was runner-up in the discus while Aly Stahle was runner-up 100 and third in 200 for Solon.

Gracie Federspiel was runner-up in the 800, Kayla Young was runner-up in the 1,500 and Solon was runner-up in the 4×800 relay.
