Solon shot a school record 167 on Thursday on its way to winning its own WAMAC triangular at Saddleback Ridge Golf Course in Solon.

Solon finished in front of South Tama which was runner-up with a 212 while Vinton-Shellsburg was third with a 215.

Lilly Houtakker and Taylor Dee each shot a 40 to pace the Spartans as four Solon players shot 44 or lower.

Houtakker earned medalist honors on a card back over Taylor Dee while Sydney Dee was third with a 43 and Rylie Greazel shot a 44 for Solon.
