Solon won three individual titles and was runner-up in seven other events on Thursday on its way to a runner-up finish at the Jesse Day Relays at Brady Street Stadium in Davenport.

Oaken Foster, Blake Timmons and Michael Yeomans won individual titles for Spartans which finished with 115 points, 18 behind team champion North Scott.

Bettendorf was third with 107 points followed by Central DeWitt with 71 and Davenport Assumption with 53.

Foster cleared 6-5 to win the high jump and Yeomans won the 800 in a career-best time of 1:59.85.

Timmons won the 200 in 22.49 and was runner-up in the 100 in 11.46.

Caleb Bock runner-up in the long jump and Solon was runner-up in both the 4×400 and 4×800 relays.

Brick Kabela was runner-up in both the 3,200 and the 1,600 and Jeremy Bachus was runner-up in the 400.
