Solon completed its best season in nearly two decades last week with a trip to the state semifinals.
On Tuesday a couple of the players responsible for the Spartans’ success picked up some individual postseason hardware.
Solon juniors Callie Levin and Hailey Miller were each named to the Iowa Print Sports Writers Association Class 3A all-state team when the organization released its postseason honors on Tuesday.
Levin and Miller were the top two scorers for a Solon team that went 23-3, reached the state tournament for the first time since 2006 and won its first game at state since 1998.
