Girls Basketball Roundup: Fifth-ranked Davenport North Stops City High in Regional Semifinal

City High had its season end on Saturday with a 61-44 loss to fifth-ranked Davenport North in a Class 5A, Region 5 semifinal in Davenport.
Davenport North improved to 20-2 on the season with its seventh consecutive win and advance to take on No. 13 Ankeny in the (12-10) in the Region 5 title game on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
City High closed the season at 6-16.
Tessa Driscoll led City high with 20 points and three steals and Augie Palmer added 13 points, two assists and two steals.
Emmy McComas had three points, seven rebounds, two assists and two steals and Mia Driscoll and Lauren Koch each had five rebounds.
Divine Bourrage had a game-high 21 points to lead Davenport North while Journey Houston had 14 points and Mariah Thompson added 13.
