West Branch Junior Guard Arnaman a Unanimous RVC South Division First Team Pick

During a breakthrough junior Holden Arnaman has continued to emerge as one of the top guards in the state and the best overall players in Class 2A.
On Wednesday Arnaman began to be recognized for his standout season.
Arnaman was a unanimous selection on the River Valley Conference South Division first-team selection when the conference released its postseason awards.
Junior Reese Trepanier joined Arnaman on the South Division first team as West Branch had four players earn all-conference honors after finishing runner-up to South Division champ Wilton.
Regina had three players earn all-conference honors led by junior Drew Streb who was a first-team South Division selection.
Arnaman averaged a career-high 22.5 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the floor including 43 percent from 3-point range.
The 6-foot-2 point guard also averaged an RVC South Division-leading 5.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game.
Arnaman ranked second in the RVC South in scoring and led the conference in made 3-pointers.
Trepanier earned first-team honors after averaging a double-double with 16.2 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot Trepanier ranked second in the South Division in rebounding, fourth in scoring and was third in field goal percentage shooting 62 percent from the floor.
Senior guard Jack McCullough was named to the South Division second team after averaging 11.6 points and 3 rebounds per game.
McCullough shot 34 percent from 3-point range and second on the team with 52 made 3-pointers.
Senior Andy Henson was named to the South Division honorable mention team.
Streb led the Regina all-conference picks earning first-team honors after averaging team-highs of 13.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot-2 Streb shot a team-leading 51.2 percent from the floor and added 1.3 assists per game.
Junior Michael Martin was a second-team pick for the Regals after ranking second on the team with 12.6 points per game to go with 3.4 rebounds.
Junior Eddie Petersen was an honorable mention selection for the Regals.
