Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Falls to Waukee Northwest in Regular Season Finale

City High dropped a non-conference contest to Waukee Northwest 62-37 on Saturday in the regular season finale for both teams in Iowa City.
Waukee Northwest snapped a two-game losing skid with the win and improved to 8-12 on the season while City High dropped to 5-15 with the loss.
Augie Palmer and Tessa Driscoll each had 11 points to lead City High.
Lauren Koch had eight points and Halle Larew had six for the Little Hawks.
Sadie Maas led four Waukee Northwest players in double figures with 14 points.
Chloee Hayes and Van Bilic each had 12 points for the Wolves and Avery Vogt had 11.
City High will open postseason play on Wednesday hosting Muscatine (4-16) in a Class 5A, Region 5 quarterfinal.
