Class 5A No. 13 West High pulled way late for a 56-42 win over Cedar Rapids Washington in the regular season finale for both teams on Thursday in Cedar Rapids.

The win was the second straight and fourth in the last five games for West High and improved the Trojans to 15-6 on the season.

Cedar Rapids Washington dropped to 1-20 on the season with the loss.

Freshman Grace Fincham had a game-high 18 points and grabbed three rebounds while senior Anna Prouty had a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds to lead West High.

Meena Tate had seven points, five rebounds and two assists and Carolyn Pierce had four points, two rebounds and two assists for the Trojans.

Samantha Becker had 16 points, 11 rebounds and seven steals for Cedar Rapids Washington.
