City High couldn’t hang on to an early lead falling to Cedar Rapids Kennedy 67-52 on Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Cedar Rapids.
Cedar Rapids Kennedy outscored City High 18-7 in the second quarter to erase an early six-point deficit and improved to 11-8 on the season with the win.
City High dropped to 5-13 with the loss.
Augie Palmer had a game-high 25 points to lead three City High players in double figures.
Emmy McComas has 13 points while Tessa Driscoll added 10 points for the Little Hawks.
Kaliyah Sain and Addy Alber each had 17 points for Cedar Rapids Kennedy and Lexi Moore added 12 points for the Cougars.
