Clear Creek Amana couldn’t hang on to a halftime lead against Class 3A sixth-ranked Marion falling to the Wolves 65-49 in a WAMAC cross-divisional contest on Friday in Tiffin.

Marion outscored Clear Creek Amana 24-12 in the third quarter to erase a three-point halftime deficit while improving to 16-4 with its second win in a row.

Clear Creek Amana dropped to 4-15 on the season with its third straight loss.

Brody Clubb led Clear Creek Amana with 13 points and four rebounds and Haiden Hardy had eight points and six rebounds for the Clippers.

Brock Hilsman added eight points and four assists for Clear Creek Amana.
