Regina moved up one spot in the most recent Class 2A girls basketball rankings released on Wednesday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The Regals moved up to fifth, trading spots with River Valley Conference foe Cascade in the final rankings of the season for Classes 1A, 2A and 3A.

Solon (19-2) remained second in the final 3A rankings of the season.

Liberty High (13-6) held its spot at No. 10 in the 5A rankings while West High (14-6) dropped one spot to No. 13 in 5A.

Clear Creek Amana (15-4) remained seventh in the Class 4A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week are Pleasant Valley in 5A, Dallas Center-Grimes in 4A, Estherville-Lincoln Central in 3A, Dike-New Hartford in 2A and Algona Garrigan in 1A.

The Final Rankings for Classes 5A and 4A will be released February 14.
