Tipton earned a regular season split with West Branch on Tuesday with a 37-30 win over the Bears in the regular season finale for both teams in Tipton.

West Branch had a two-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 5-16 on the season and 3-9 in River Valley Conference South Division play.

Tipton improved to 7-14 on the season and 3-9 in RVC South Division games.

West Branch won the first meeting between the two teams 55-35 in West Branch on December 20.

Kylie Pickett had 12 points and four rebounds to lead West Branch while Sadie Smith had six points, four rebounds and two steals for the Bears.

Isabel Pedersen added six points and three rebounds.

West Branch will open postseason play on Saturday at 7 p.m. at Lisbon (10-11).
