Girls Basketball Roundup: Regina Finishes Unbeaten RVC South Season With Win Over West Liberty

Regina put the finishing touches on an unbeaten conference season with a 64-36 win over West Liberty in the regular season finale for both teams on Tuesday in Iowa City.
Class 2A sixth-ranked Regina improved to 18-4 on the season and closed the season a perfect 12-0 in River Valley Conference South Division play.
West Liberty, which won at Class 3A third-ranked Benton Community on Monday, had a six-game winning streak snapped with just its second loss in its last 11 games and dropped to 15-6 on the season and closed 9-3 in RVC South Division play.
Dani Laughlin had 16 points, six rebounds and four assists to lead Regina.
Morgan Miller added 13 points, four rebounds and three assists and Morgan Squiers had 12 points and five rebounds.
Alli Clark had nine points and Ella McLaughlin had eight points, 12 rebounds and three assists for the Regals.
Grace Gaarde had nine rebounds and a team-high seven assists for Regina.
