Mary Crompton
Former Regina all-stater and current Illinois State senior guard Mary Crompton had two 3-pointers on Sunday in a win over Murray State to move into a tie for third all-time in Missouri Valley Conference history with 277 career 3-pointers.
Crompton had five triples in a win over Bradley on Thursday to move into the top-five in MVC history.
With her 277 career 3-pointers Crompton is 17 away from second all-time in MVC history and 37 away from Gabi Haack for the most in conference history.
On the season Crompton is averaging 11.8 points per game while shooting 46 percent from 3-point range to help the Redbirds to a 17-5 record including an 11-1 MVC mark.
Aurora Roghair
West High graduate and current Stanford sophomore Aurora Roghair helped the third-ranked Cardinal swimming and diving team remain unbeaten on the season with a 175-123 win over No. 10 USC on Saturday.
Roghair swept the distance events winning titles in the 1,000 and the 500 freestyle as Stanford improved to 7-0 on the season.
Roghair won the 1,000 freestyle in 9:53.66 and added a first-place finish in the 500 in 4:48.1.
David Bluder
Solon graduate and current Grinnell College sophomore David Bluder had nine points, five rebounds and two assists in a 104-94 loss to Cornell College on Tuesday.
On the season Bluder has appeared in all 21 gams for Grinnell (7-14) making three starts and ranks fifth on the team in scoring at 7.4 points per game to go with 1.3 rebounds per game.
