West Branch snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 42-34 win over Lisbon on Thursday on a postseason preview in West Branch.

Sadie Smith had 14 points and six rebounds as West Branch improved to 4-14 on the season with the non-conference win over the Lions.

The two teams will meet again on February 11 in a Class 2A, Region 1 opening-round contest in Lisbon.

Avery Schultes had 12 points, four rebounds and three steals in the win and Isabel Pedersen added six points and five rebounds for West Branch.

Lisbon dropped to 10-10 with the loss.
