Solon completed the regular season sweep of Mount Vernon with a 76-50 win over the Mustangs on Friday in a WAMAC East Division matchup in Solon.
Jake Benzing poured in 31 points and Solon outscored the Mustangs 43-19 in the second half while improving to 12-5 on the season with its third straight win.
Mount Vernon had a six-game winning streak snapped with the loss, its first since a 78-58 loss to Solon back on January 17 in Mount Vernon, and dropped to 12-6 on the season.
Rylen Stiegelmeyer had 14 points and Cole Buffington added 11 for the Spartans.
Jackson Kutcher had 16 points to lead Mount Vernon while Joe Rhomberg had 11 and Brady Erickson had eight.
